“Really good day out, seeing the frozen waterfalls in person was incredible. Our guide was very helpful too. Unfortunately we did have to rush a little as one of our passengers on the way there was taken sick but this wasn't the fault of the guide. Be prepared with some good hiking gear and decent boots as the hiking path is quite icy on the way down and you can very easily slide. The lunch was nice but unfortunately it wasn't very substantial. We had 1 sausage each with bread and a hot drink. I was still hungry after so I would recommend you bring your own lunch!”

He told us some interesting facts about the area, including the reason why sliding on the hiking trail is prohibited (due to some serious injuries people use to get there, like fractured bones i.e.). Ironically, a few minutes after telling us this, another group came behind us and one child screamed and cried bitterly out of pain, after a hard landing. We were picked up on time by our guide and taken to their city centre office where we were offered outer clothing and boot spikes. It was a little chaotic and my neurodiverse wife did struggle with how many people were crammed into the office and the noise.
