“We had a really enjoyable day with a good balance of activities. The pace was gentle throughout, with no hiking involved, so it would suit people of all fitness levels. Pick‑up was on time and the minivan was comfortable enough for the journey. Our guide, Piano, had a very distinctive style, and her sense of humour really appealed to my 16‑year‑old son. The day also broadly followed the advertised itinerary. On the downside, while Piano shared interesting information about the Karen village, there was very little explanation provided at the other stops. Much of the day felt like, “Get off the bus, go over there, and be back by this…”
