Visiting the two waterfalls was beautiful too, but would have liked to visit both in the morning rather than one in the evening because of how dark it was. We even got to experience Icelandic music. Our guide was very experienced. We stopped for a WC stop and were able to stock up on snacks/lunch for the long trip. We had snow flurries at the final destination which made for difficult hiking but beautiful photos. That just underscored that in Iceland be prepared for anything, even in August.”
