“A fun-filled day from start to finish. Our first stop was at a private lava tube to avoid the crowds- and after a long, bumpy ride, the toured well worth it. We had it completely to ourselves. Gorgeous gold-flecked walls and u could plainly see the way the lava carved out the tunnel. Nice, filling picnic lunch, then on to Kilauea. The volcano was only smoking that day but the views from the park were stunning and we loved playing in the safe steam vent area by the parking area.
